Where it has been seen:
Brittany, France; Vellemelen, Norway
YR OY was ringed in Chichester Harbour in August 2004. It over wintered in Finistere, Brittany France, with many sightings reported between October and March. We received sightings from Norway during May 2005, where it is thought to breed.
It was seen in winter 2005/6, 2006/7 and 2007/8 in the same area of Brittany. In July 2008 it was seen in Morbihan, Brittany.
