This bird was seen in suitable breeding habitat with another bird in northern Scotland in June 2012. This was the first link between the Scottish breeding population and The Solent. NY+GR was ringed on 23 September 2006. This bird is one of three from the original project that regularly wintered in Chichester Harbour. It has not been recorded since September 2012.
